Welcome back Mr. Alice Cooper! It's now almost 10 years since he appeared on the ABstage. In recent years he returned to the limelight with the album "Along Came A Spider" and a brilliant concert at the Lokerse Feesten.
Alice Cooper won't be sitting still in 2011 either
Via Universal, he'll be releasing an album that is intended as the continuation of his 1975 solo debut and will bear the appropriate title "Welcome To My Nightmare II". What's more, together with his band, this year he'll be receiving a place in the famous Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Last year in Lokeren he was justly praised as one of the founders of the glam- and shock-rock; someone who has been travelling the world for 40 years already with his theatrical shows. "Headliner Alice Cooper proved that good rock should also be good entertainment". He scored the monster hit "School's Out" with the Alice Cooper Group in the early 70's. From his solo career it'll be "Poison" (from 1989 already) that you most especially remember. But also songs like "No More Mr. Nice Guy", "Billion Dollar Babies" and "I'm Eighteen" were worldwide hits.Did you like this article?
