Conceived in close collaboration with the artist, the exhibition by the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium offers a vast panorama of his work and emphasizes its multidisciplinary aspect. Indeed, Wim Delvoye's art is often the result of a combination of craftsmanship and the most sophisticated industrial manufacturing techniques.
Anchored in the contemporary world, Wim Delvoye studies the past and contemplates the future. In a new way, the exhibition brings together his creations with masterpieces from the RMFAB's collection of ancient art. In addition, recent works, presented to the public for the first time, testify to the artist's attentive view of the changes taking place in our hyper-connected societies, where lines between reality and virtual worlds are increasingly blurry.
His reputation has long since passed the boarders of his homeland, and in recent years he carried out numerous exhibitions in countries as diverse as Canada, Azerbaijan, Russia, Luxembourg or even Iran.
The exhibition ticket includes access to the Old Masters Museum.
The exhibition is free for -19 years old (except groups)
