Pride @ Brussels
19 May 2017 - 19 May 2017
Once more, the Belgian Pride.be will take over the center of Brussels. From the traditional parade to the PrideVillage, all the ingredients will be gathered for a special day of celebration that will bring together information and entertaining.
For its 20th anniversary, THE unmissable festive event honoring the LGBTQI community will offer countless activities organized in preparation of the massive parade on Saturday May 16.
MiniPride
A foretaste of the Pride will be organized on Thursday 30 April 2015 in the streets of Brussels, along with the rythm of the Meyboom. This very folkloric and brusseleir event will start at City Hall on Grand Place to go Manneken Pis, who will be wearing a very special costume for the occasion. On just this day, he will not be peeing water, but Kriek!
Three days of apotheosis
For its 20th birthday, no less than 3 days will end the PrideFestival period: the Gender@Pride on Thursday 14 May will focus on gender identities; the Pride@TheCity on Friday 15 May will provide Brussels with some massive party looks.
The Parade@Pride will mark the end of the festivities on Saturday 16 May with its traditional parade that will start from the Bourse.
The Pride Festival is an opportunity to fight against homophobia and gives the LGBTQI community visibility. Different activities will be present all over Belgium, all under the rainbow flag that will decorate the buildings.
PrideVillage
There will be stands offering information, entertainment, and food from midday on in the Village in front of the Bourse.
Pride Parties
Several parties will take place throughout the city. More information to come soon.
