Kunsten Festival des Arts

Dozens of Brussels theatres and art houses welcome this event for 3 weeks every May. Firmly focused on the future, not only does this festival present the cultural diversities of the country, it also invites a good number of performing art companies from abroad, who find a platform of expression before an attentive and generous audience here.

There are loads of original first productions, trying out this testing ground for their future creative work. Because the public of Brussels is well known for its open-mindedness and curiosity, but its cosmopolitanism and readiness to criticise also make it an accurate barometer of today's talents.
