Just two years after its formation, the Latin GRAMMY®-nominated phenomenon CNCO (pronounced C-N-C-O) has dazzled the music industry as one of Latin pop's most influential and prolific hit-makers. Comprised by five young Latinos of different nationalities – Christopher (Ecuador), Erick Brian (Cuba), Joel (México), Richard (Dominican Republic) and Zabdiel (Puerto Rico), - the group emerged from Univision's musical competition La Banda, which was executive-produced by Simon Cowell's SYCO Entertainment, the global icon Ricky Martin, Univision Communications Inc., and Haim Saban's Saban Brands.

CNCO released its debut album Primera Cita (First Date) in 2016, which quickly became a global success and was certified Diamond, Platinum, and Gold in the United States, Latin America and Europe. Throughout their short but incredible career, the group has garnered numerous awards including: seven Latin American Music Awards, six Premios Juventud (Youth Awards), four Billboard Latin Music Awards, three Premio Lo Nuestro, three Premios Tu Mundo (Your World Awards), two iHeartRadio Music Awards, one Kids Choice Award and one Teen Choice Award.

On April 6, 2018, the group released its second album, titled CNCO, debuting at #1 on the Latin sales charts in the United States and Puerto Rico, becoming the biggest Latin album debut as of 2018. Within one month of its release, the album has already been certified Platinum in the United States and Chile, Double Platinum in Argentina, and Gold in Mexico and Central America.

CNCO has broken all language barriers and they have established themselves as an unstoppable global force with their sophomore album that also debuted #1 in 13 countries across the Americas, such as the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and on the Top 20 charts in more than 30 countries in four continents, including remote nations, such as Singapore, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Cameroon, and Israel; as well as European territories like Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Ireland, among others.

Several singles from CNCO (album) - “Hey DJ,” “Mamita,” “Reggaetón Lento (Remix)”, “Mi Medicina” and “Fiesta En Mi Casa” - have also received Platinum and Gold sales certifications in the United States, México, Argentina, Chile and Peru. In addition, these singles have accumulated millions of streams/views on different digital-music platforms.

In addition, they received a Multi-Platinum certification for more than five million sales globally of their hit “Reggaetón Lento” (Remix) feat. Little Mix which also recently earned them an iHeartRadio Music Award for “Best Remix.”

During 2017, CNCO sold out 40 concerts in 15 different countries proving their ticket-selling power. The group also joined Latin Music icons Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull on their North American tour opening multiple dates for them in the United States and Canada.

In February 2018, CNCO made its debut at the legendary annual Viña del Mar International Song Festival,  in Chile, taking home one Gaviota de Oro, one Gaviota de Plata (Golden and Silver Seagull Awards) and the award for the Most Popular Artist of the Festival.

Thanks to the support of their more that 6.5 million of followers, known as CNCOwners, this group has dominated the music industry's most prestigious award ceremonies and has performed at top-tier live venues in the United States, Latin America and Europe this year.

The quintet is conquering each corner of the planet, reaching markets like Asia, Africa, Europe, and Australia regardless of cultural or language barriers. With the success of their new album, the group is set to be one of the most prestigious Latin acts in recent history.

La Madeleine

14 Rue Duquesnoy 1000

The facade of La Madeleine is the only surviving part of the large covered market built in 1847 on the plans of the architect J-P Cluysenaar and inaugurated in 1848. It was the first covered market in Brussels, with the exception of the small flower market designed a short time previously by the same architect in the Galeries Saint-Hubert. It was also one of Brussels’ first large metal constructions. The Madeleine market was destroyed in 1957 and gave way to the festival hall of the City of Brussels. The cut stone façade, whose elevation is inspired by the Loggia dei Lanzi in the Piazza della Signoria in Florence, was kept as the front of a new building. For fifty years, the hall welcomed a host of festive and cultural events of all kinds. The venue is also known to the public for its receptions. It is notably where, for a long time, the city’s officials would gather for their annual dance, the Bal des Fonctionnaires. After being operated for several years by the Casino of Brussels, the City of Brussels has officially entrusted the management of the Salle de la Madeleine to Brussels Expo.
