And if I stop it all?
He registers with clubs, gets active in competition. When he is 18 years old, he almost gives it all up. But he clings on, and wins the title of world junior vice-champion, in 2002. Four years later, he takes the 9th place in the Winter Olympics of Turin. A very nice performance, consecrated a year later with his bronze medal for the European figure skating Championship, in Warsaw. It was on the 25th January 2007. This sportive achievement, he has at heart to repeat it in four years time at the next Winter Olympics, in Vancouver. Meanwhile, he lives in Ninove where he carries on with his tough training at the Liedekerke club, close to Brussels, under the watchful eye of his coach Vera Vandecaveye.Matthieu Lethé

An ice rink without training Your tof place for developing your culture capital? Kinépolis or Sportpaleis If you had to show Brussels off to a foreign friend, where would you take him first?
