Brussels witnessed by bloggers
-
Over the last months, Blogs, these electronic private diaries posted on line by Mr and Mrs 'World', have become an unavoidable part of life on the Net. All types of subjects are discussed and of course, Brussels is the subject of many.
The reference remains 'Brussels, my city', and such web pages are visited frequently. They cover all aspects of living in Brussels (from refurbishment of the Ixelles ponds to the recent events in St Gilles where cars were set on fire) often with many photographs taken by the authors. The 'Blog de Fu' offers artistic stereotypes from the four corners of the capital taken both day and night.
The blogs published by Brussels inhabitants who have come to live in the capital, do not mince their words when discussing life in the town that now welcomes them. 'Cheese web, tales of Expat life in Belgium' tells the story of the life of a Canadian couple living in the capital, and 'My boyfriend is a twat' talks about daily life of a British single mother living in Belgium for more than ten years.
