Brussels in the country-style

The inhabitants of Brussels will be there for the key event of the car-free day. Indeed, it will be a unique occasion to discover the Place des Palais turned into a real countryside corner. There will be farm animals and the members of the staff of Bruxelles Champêtre will offer animations and activities for the little ones and for grown-ups.

Located in the center of the place, the 2000 m² urban grass will have lots of success. Around it, the area will be divided into thematic villages in order to exhibit different stands and activities. The idea is to raise public awareness of the benefits of sustainable food. Farmers and craftsmen will share their know-how while kids will enjoy the merry-go-round and pony rides.

Beer and music

Brussels isn’t known as the home of beer for nothing, with a whole host of local breweries attending the event; you will be able to try a cacophony of beverages. Music is also at the heart of this day, with a selection to satisfy everyone, including jazz, soul, modern and traditional.
