Beethoven's Eroica @ Conservatory
29 Mar 2015 - 29 Mar 2015

It's once more a special concert that is in the making at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels.
With Nelson Goerner at the piano, conductor Thomas Zehetmair will lead the orchestra of the Hulencourt Solists on Monday 30 March 2015 at 8pm.
Beethoven's Eroica
The high point of the evening will be dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven with his famous Symphony n° 3, Eroica.
When this Symphony was written at the very beginning of the 19th Century, observers considered it at the time as forewarning of the musical Romanticism. Initially devoted to Napoléon Bonaparte, it is one of the composer's most notorious works and is still considered a major piece in the history of classical music.
The musical programme of the evening will also present the Concerto for piano n° 1 by Franz Liszt, interpreted with verve by pianist Nelson Goerner. Finally, the new piece by Aaron Copland, interpreted by Vladimir Patchivinskii, will explore others resonances of the genre.
This concert is organized by the Hulencourt Art Project.
