Aperos in Park Josaphat, winter version

The Park Josaphat apero organizers decided to disregard the unpredictable thermometer and launched a winter version of their weekly events.

Instead of stretching out on the lawn, you will be able to get warm up next to an open fire. Everything else about the event will remain unchanged. You can munch on some grilled dishes and meats while sipping a Moinette or a glass of organic wine.

The building

The winter version of Park Josaphat aperos found a perfect location at 95 Rue Rubens in Schaerbeek. The building that will be your Friday destination after work actually used to be a Stib warehouse. At another time, horse and carriages were stored there. Vacant since 1997, it has been newly renovated to welcome crowds of people ready to chill out and have a good time.

So mark it on your calendar: aperos every Friday of the winter months from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm. They are still finishing up some construction, but don’t worry it won’t last all winter! They are creating a space just for children. Eventually the organizers also hope to set up an organic market so people can buy some groceries.
