Following their August 2006 concert - a major event - Daniel Barenboim returns with his West-Eastern Divan Orchestra made up of young Israeli and Arab musicians.
Musically, this is an ensemble of great quality; in human terms, it is of great signifi cance. For Daniel Barenboim, clearly, both as a man and as
a musician, this project has become a key one. The enthusiasm, the sincerity, and the generosity of both the conductor and his young musicians invariably
result in concerts of extraordinary impact.
