Nurupama and Rajendra are Indian artists who have founded the Abhinava Arts Center in Bangalore. They are coming from India to Brussels to show their new dance show called Umang.
You will discover two different type of traditional indian dances in this show: the Bharata Natyam and the Khatak.
The first one is an holy one which was only danced in the temples of south India before. Now you can disover it on the stages. Every single mouvement has his meaning, even the eyes have their part.
The second is more rhythmic. It comes from North India. The music has his very part in the dance.
