To watch on TV: Brussels international

French and English speakers don't watch it much, but Tv-Brussel , the Flemish regional channel in the capital, is also for all those who do not speak the language of Bruegel.
Most of the channel's programmes have French and English subtitles via teletext (on pages 888 and 887 respectively). This local channel also applies an international approach when it comes to Brussels, which it sees as being "multicultural". Each day TV-Brussel gives Brussels residents information on life in the city in programmes including news, culture and sports. One programme in particular called , Brussels International talks about issues of interest to expats living in the capital every Sunday evening (after the news). A few sunday ago, issues included film reports on the latest human rights conference on the rights of women in Islam, immigration in Europe and a Japanese "karaoke box" in Ixelles...
