Appearing at the end of the Second World War, the Solex was the delight of the youth of the Sixties. Although a few nostalgic people still had one, the make was tending to disappear from the moped landscape. The Cible Company has revived the concept and come up with a brand new vehicle.
Banking on the Solex's three strong points: a mythical profile, a legendary make that has become emblematic and an ease of use, Cible has decided to keep the Solex's unique profile and to entrust the overall modernisation of its aesthetics to a great designer, the famous Pininfarina. On the technical side, electric propulsion was of course essential. This new model is equipped with a 350-Watt 36-Volt "Brushless" engine. It functions thanks to one or two Lithium ion batteries like those of a laptop computer. The principal battery housed within the front frame gives a life of approximately one hour or about thirty kilometres. Ideal for small journeys. The front block has become a trunk that carries the special battery charger so that they can be 100% recharged anywhere in three hours. Stéphanie Guillaume
