The comic strip trail in Brussels

This tourist trail through the streets of Brussels and created in 1991 by the Belgian Comic Strip Centre helps lovers of this colourful art discover the many characters present on the city's walls. From Cubitus to Gaston Lagaffe via Ric Hochet and the patrouille des Castors the 24 murals peppered through the region are well worth a visit, particularly as this art form is now part of Belgian national heritage.
