The Color Run @ Tour & Taxis
The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5K on the Planet, is a 5k run where thousands of runners – all starting in a white T-shirt – get covered in colored powder from head to toe throughout the race. Once the runners finish, the fun continues at the "Color Festival", where more color powder is thrown in the air, making every runner look like a walking rainbow.
Color Run
The first edition of the Color Run was organized in Phoenix, Arizona in January 2012. Since then, the concept has spread across the planet. Participants start whenever they want and run 5 kilometers at whatever pace they want. No ranking, no timing, only fun. After the finish line, the party continues with a multitude of "color blasts" that create clouds of colorful powder.
Registration
On Sunday, September 7, 15,000 runners are allowed at the start of The Color Run Bruxelles. Signups are open on May 13 via www.thecolorrun.be. It costs 35€ and includes: the race number, a sweatband, temporary tatoos, a sac of colored powder, access to the festival's closing event, and the rest breaks.
