The 2018 Flower Carpet
A little history
Since its creation in August 1971, every two years around August 15th, the Grand-Place reveals its splendid carpet of flowers. A masterpiece that brings together and amazes Brussels residents and tourists alike! Each edition, a particular theme. At the last edition, in 2016, to celebrate the 150 years of friendship between Belgium and Japan, the Carpet of Flowers was covered with an Asian design and put Japan in the spotlight.
