During this party, you will assist a fashion show, which goal is to use "vintage" clothes, second-hand clothes (which have mainly been collected in IHECS) in order to recycle them and give them new interesting forms. A group of stylists coming from different fashion schools of Brussels will be behind the hard work.
The Fashion Show
The policy of "Recycle Me 2011" is to show fashion in a different way, both scenically and artistically. Furthermore, audio visuals will accompany the show as well as light and sound sets as well as performances by Belgian artists starting to make a name for themselves. Our goal doesn't limit itself to the simple exhibit of the outfits of our stylists : we think that to generate an entire scenic project around their creations will highlight their style by drawing the audience's attention, still giving a full visibility on our stylists is an important factor.The Vintage Party
A show like "Recycle Me 2011" won't last more than one hour. That is why, we invite you to participate in the "Recycle Me 2011" After-Party taking place directly after the show, still at the Mirano Continental. Why stop so early when the party can last all night long? Moreover, the Mirano Continental offers an idyllic setting for it. Enjoy an evening of vintage colours (the dresscode (vintage) is preferred but not mandatory).
