On Sunday April 20th, the inhabitants of Plateau Engeland in Uccle are organising their fifth festival. This annual event was born of the desire to counter the installation of the 476(a) real estate project envisaging 299 residences in the area teeming with wildlife, Plateau Engeland. Organised following the discontent of the residents and many nature lovers, it is above all a local festival impregnated with conviviality and music.
The day will begin at 10.00 with a guided ecological walk around Kinsendael. At 11.00, visitors will have an opportunity of taking an aperitif and attending a briefing by the local committee concerning the housing project before enjoying a good barbecue and other homemade culinary delights. At around 13.30, possibility of taking part in a guided ecological walk around Plateau Engeland and at 14.00, a free concert (Lupus). Various entertainments are also envisaged throughout the day (inflatable castle, children's games, face-painting, nature association stands, musical events, and so on). Stéphanie Guillaume
