"In Lo Cubano!" was the title of their incredible first album published in 1999. Ten years later, our three gringos are well decided to celebrate that. Don't miss the AB event to listen to the entire "A Lo Cubano" album (for the experts, we call it a "Rewind" at the AB).
Orishas is without any doubt the most energetic Hispanic group of hip-hop. A torrid environment with a particularly original formula, detonating and effective mix between traditional cuban musics and contemporary sounds.
Remember last time they came to AB, in front of a crazy crowd, in January 2008 (or this summer with Dranouter). To refresh your memory, "A Lo Cubano" was a succession of tubes like "Represent" , "A Lo Cubano" and "537 C.U.B.A." (their version of the cuban standard `Chan Chan'). A CD that made you wanna shout: Cuba back in da house! Funky floor filler! Orishas is, and remains, the top as regards hip-hop. An irresistible flow and a communicative enthusiasm that make you sweat! Take some time to listen to their compilation "Antidiotico" but it is especially into live music that the trio rocks. Their name is inspired by the religious tradition yoruba and what is sure, it is that Yotuel, Ruzzo and Roldan are passionate persons.
Today installed in Paris, Milan and Madrid, they are coming back to AB! Extralocubano!
