In summer, the ski-lifts remains a viable option. You can hook your mountain bike on as well if you wish to race down the snowfree slopes that are now covered in grass...
The Portes du Soleil’s MTB area is without doubt one of the largest in the world with 650km of signposted paths, an FFC circuit 80km long between France and Switzerland, 24 ski-lifts specially adapted for transporting bikes, 4 Bike Parks, dozens of permanent downhill tracks, trial circuits, biker-cross, bikehandling schools… An area open from 29th June to 2nd September 2007 suitable for both amateurs, Sunday riders or hard-riding smitten professionals, for free-riders, downhillers and even cross riders.
An event to set the summer season in the Portes du Soleil off with a bang. The MTB Pass'Portes du Soleil attracts all amateur freeride and downhill mountain bikers. ( more about Pass'Portes)
