Welcome to the Luka-clan, the Bloom-community. 'Tribe', that's the name of his latest CD (on V2 Records) and our favourite Irish 'turbo-troubadour' is clearly very satisfied with this very beautiful melancholy masterpiece.
LUKA BLOOM is excellent alone, always and everywhere, but for these recordings he still chose Dublin as location and to have Simon O'Reilly at his side.
This driven singer-songwriter has been active for more than a quarter century already. His career officially started with the album 'Riverside' in '90. Then there was that immensely successful, hushed version of the rap-hit 'I Need Love'.
Those who have already experienced (many) a Luka Bloom performance, or are familiar with the live CD 'Amsterdam', then know how inventive and vivid he can be live. Welcome back Luka Bloom!
