Foot-to-the-floor swinging mix, in full it's still: JOOLS HOLLAND and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra featuring Gilson Lavis and Ruby Turner (and Louise Marshall?). Late-night TV viewers know him from (the likes of) 'Later... With Jools', that unrivalled TV show on the BBC. But music-lovers (and dancing partners) know this intense big-band from their immensely enjoyable concerts.
Under the motto: 'enjoy yourself, it's later than you think'. Or see also: a more recent CD: 'swinging the blues, dancing the ska'. Or as BB King once remarked of our pleasant bandleader-pianist: 'Jools has got that left hand that never stops'. Apparently there's a new CD on the pile, with the very promising title 'Best of Friends'. But especially, don't let this irresistable 'Saturday night... at the AB' pass you buy. Hold on!
