Le Bulex and its younger sister the Jeudibar have become two legends of Brussels nightlife over the last fifteen years. Luckily, such legends don't take themselves too seriously!
Everything started in a hangar not far from Evere with big parties held once a month, with a mix of primarily funky and quite eclectic music, happily dealt out by DJs Lucas Racasse and Ben. Since then, Bulex has come to mean a wild range of musical styles (usually non-electronic), along with a solid helping of self-mockery and a keen motivation to party in the broadest sense of the word. The organisation moved several times, but the ethos is still the same… it has even created a spin-off called the Jeudibar. As it only occurred once a month, the Bulex needed a weekly base, and this is why it created a bar-club that initially moved around... It's a really laid back and friendly place. The official name is 'Bulex Jeudibar Inter Cambio', and entrance (free to all Bulex members) costs…. a four-coloured biro pen (yes, indeed!) or 3 Euros, whichever you prefer. Relaxed public, great mix of people, no dress code.
