After 3 years of (re)construction works, the greatest dinosaur gallery of Europe is finally opening its doors, on October 27! The restoration of one of wings of the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels kicked off in 2004.
In this 4580 m² exhibition hall you can find a dinosaur gallery and a hall completely dedicated to biological evolution: many fossils, 22 big and 7 smaller skeletons and 11 dinosaurs in the position in which they where discovered more then a century ago.
Special attention is given to the unique collection of iguanodon skeletons. These showpieces received their own well-deserved facelift. Interactive exhibits let you discover the world of the dinos: their live, their environment, their disappearance and their discovery...
More novelties: a brand new public entrance, a renovated museum shop, the Dino Café and above all: the unique paleoLAB where children over 5 years,
accompanied by an adult, can participate in scientific activities.
