A man and a woman speak. The woman tells the story of a relationship that has ended.
The man tells a large number of different stories. Each story is a snapshot of a sorrow great or small. Exquisite Pain by the English group Forced Entertainment is an intimate performance based on the wonderful reading and picture book Douleur exquise by the French artist Sophie Calle.
