Floralia Brussels 2022 will be the 19th edition of the spring flower show. The exhibition is located in the 14 hectares of the park of the Grand-Bigard Castle.

A castle rich in history and cultural significance 

The construction of this castle began in the 12th century. Further work was then undertaken, resulting in the keep and the central part of the drawbridge. The 17th century marked the end of its construction with the bridge, the chapel and the main building being completed. The castle of Grand-Bigard is part of the Flemish Renaissance style. However, time took its toll on the monument and restoration work was carried out at the beginning of the 20th century, which lasted 30 years. The castle is now in a very good condition and you can visit it to admire its wonders. What else can you find here apart from the castle? Hyacinths, daffodils and tulips will be there to show you the beauty of nature. You should also know that every year, more than a million bulbs are planted by hand all around the park. If you would like to organise a private business or family event at the Château du Grand-Bigard, this is entirely possible. You can organise weddings, receptions, birthdays, communions or family reunions in this peaceful and natural setting. The rooms have a capacity of 20 to 500 people for cocktails and up to 300 people for dinner in one room. If the weather is fine outside, once again the castle can adapt to offer you the possibility of holding your reception in its gardens.  As far as food is concerned, the château's catering service will make proposals for a personalised menu. Another piece of information that will please your children this time is that the castle of Grand-Bigard was the location for the shooting of the French comedy "Les profs 2" with Kev Adams in the cast.
