The Marni Theater, at a stone's throw from Place Flagey, invites you to feel the spring vibe by opening a " Fenêtre sur le Portugal" (a window with view on the Portugal), from April the 23d to April the 26th. This festive and convivial appointment will take you for a trip in the heart of Portugal which is living here and with open arms. A real great program for these 4 cultural evenings!
Wednesday, April 23d : festival opening
Shops of the Place Flagey join the event and invite you to drink the aperitif. A perfect first impression to taste the festival and its program.
A chapter dedicated to "memory" will begin every evening from 18.00 by reading revolutionary texts, which will take you to the atmosphere of the Eyelets Revolution.
A chapter "theater", the April 23d, 24th and 25th, with the play "Bureau de Tabac" by Fernando Pessoa and a play directory of Odile Vansteenwinckel.
A chapter "exhibition" with an collective exhibition exPortugal which gathers pictures of Lisbon of two Belgian artists: Benjamin Struelens and Francis Vansteenwinckel, and portraits of Portuguese traders which work in the Flagey district (Rui Moreira).
