The King is more alive than ever. Commemorating the 30th anniversary of his death, the American show "Elvis The Musical ", on its world tour, is descending on Brussels, this coming October 23 and 24. This show was initially presented in London, in 1977, and remained on the bill for 19 months.
Elvis was to have attended the premier in person but his unfortunate demise occurred a few months earlier. To revive this hit musical production, Adam Spiegel, producer of Fame and Saturday Night Fever, was called upon . He's really pushed the boat out…
On stage, three singers will incarnate, with disconcerting miming and to live music, the three periods of the King. Certain members of the original group will even be on stage. From the young Elvis in to the King of Las Vegas, the legend is recounted through 80 immortal songs, but also by projections that evoke the career of the singing heartthrob, and by choreography interpreted by professional dancers and actors. An exceptional homage teeming with ardour and sensuality.
