Egouts de Bruxelles
Ran by the "Service des Egouts de la Ville de Bruxelles" the museum presents a vital part of the history of today's Capital of Europe. Formerly a victim of the sporadic tantrums of the Senne river and surrounding marshland, Brussels only obtained geographical stability when the river, coined "open-air sewer" for many years, was definitely covered up. A genuine, but rather pleasant, descent into hell, the visit costing 3 euros is definitely interesting.
