The Fairy Tale Forest, dressed to the nines in spring green, the Fata Morgana from the Tales of 1001 Nights, the Dream Flight fairies, the roller coasters Python, Pegasus, The Flying Dutchman and Bird Rok: the entire theme park is ready to welcome new visitors.
And there's more: the Family Attraction Park has some marvellous entertainment in store, the park show TiTaTovenaar is back again and the Efteling Museum now features a unique temporary exhibition about the Flying Fakir's 50th birthday. In brief, the World of Wonder's new year is once again full of surprises.
Seven League Summer
During the Seven League Summer, Efteling will have longer opening times, until 9 p.m. And on the Seven Saturdays, i.e. 12, 19 and 26 July, 2, 9, 16 August and 23 August, the park will even be open until midnight, and visitors will be treated to an exciting evening of entertainment with numerous well-known performers. Efteling's Seven League Summer runs from Monday 7 July through Sunday 24 August.
Our Fakir turns 50
During the 2008 season, the Fakir from the fairy tale `The Gardener and the Fakir´ will celebrate his 50th anniversary. A temporary exhibition marking this anniversary has been mounted in the Efteling Museum, with photographs and anecdotes from the fairy tale's construction in 1958. Added to which, we will shed some light on fakirs as a magical phenomenon.
