What is this party? Is it salsa? Is it jazz? It is this: timeless virtuoso swing! EDDIE PALMIERI has been playing world class music for about half a century now: intensely festive and incredibly refined. Simpatico, his latest (32nd?) CD, and with it his ninth (9th!) Grammy award!
A magnificent career for a young man from Spanish Harlem NYC USA, who wanted to become a percussionist but chose the piano and now plays it with a fantastic sense of rhythm. In 1961 Eddie Palmieri set up Conjunto La Perfecta and the perfect party hasn?t stopped since then. An absolute must for passionate lovers of music and fans of Cuban and Afro-Caribbean vibes!
