That Cut Killer became an icon of the Hip Hop French stage, it is true: his biography doesn’t lie: ‘He is one of the emblematic Hip Hop characters, considered as a model for the old but also for the young generations. Cut Killer is an innovateur of the Hip Hop movement in France. ‘Indeed, brilliant DJ since 1990, producer of records since 1995(the labels MCA then Eastory) and producer of film scores, designer of casual cloths, actor in the movie ‘The Hatred’ by Matthieu Kassovitz ...he revealed all his talents, orienting them to the Hip Hop and the cultures of the street.
Already megastar for more than 10 years, one of his performances became notorious in the mass-media for provoking a quite big riot in the center of Brussels. The artist himself had to cancel his performance, very shocked by the uncontrollable situation. The same happened to the Rap artists from Los Angeles and the public, that evening the music being considered on the second plan, relegated to the rank of a pretext. But in a few years the Hip Hop stage became more professional everywhere, in France as well as in United States, Cut Killer continued to create his environments and excerpts, the souls calmed down and the public became diversified. The atmosphere of the years 2000-2006 is thus cool, completely centered on music. Moreover, nothing is more comfortable than Studio 44 where you can enjoy the music of this exceptional artist playing the vinyl records. It will go off the road! Nicolas Deckmyn
