Ingredients for 1 person
8 slices of the rest of a baguette or other bread - 8 large raw sardine filets - 1 large white onion - the zest of 1 orange - 3 soup spoons of olive oil - 1 pinch of flour - 1 dl of white wine - A mix of seasonal saladPreparation
Sweat the sliced onions ensuring that the don't discolour. Sprinkle them with the pinch of flour, pour in the white wine, season, add the chopped orange zest and leave to simmer for 20 minutes until the onions are cooked. Toast the bread in the oven or grill, spread on the onion confiture. Cut the sardine filets in two and place skin side on the crostini. Season and sprinkle with olive oil. Cook in the hot oven for 15 minutes. Garnish with a mix of seasonal salad and fresh herbs.Did you like this article?
