Daniel Piron, a television journalist approaching the end of his career, hopes to get back into the limelight by seeking out those involved in a hostage-taking that happened 25 years ago.
Sadly for him, the kidnapper is no longer the revolutionary of those days. So there will be no high-impact reunion; Pirot's . lm is in trouble, until he decides to take some liberties with the facts. The story is based on real events: in 1980 Michel Strée hijacked a bus in Vielsam and forced the driver to take the road to Brussels. At the RTBF car park he fired some shots before finally being overpowered, but did not wound anyone. Today he lives
surrounded by birds, which he prepares for their release into the wild.
