To present the automobile's genealogy, importers and their clubs represent an historic showcase that outlines the major steps in automobile evolution.
Today's models do not stem from a spontaneous generation, they have descendants and a genetic code that forms part of the richness of a make. For those among them that are no longer active, the make and multi-make clubs take it upon themselves to carry the torch and in doing so contribute to preserving an industrial heritage, the importance of which is now more and more recognised. A show should offer us the opportunity to buy our dreams. This is where classic car traders come into the picture, together forming a collection of balanced and eclectic cars, from the most sympathetic to the more mythic ones that change hands to the good fortune of everyone. To fuel the passion, education is needed. That's the key role of booksellers, offering books from yesterday and today and an ever richer and varied literature.
