Who is Bonom?

Vincent Glowinski, alias Bonom, is often the talk of the town with the inexplicable appearances of his frescos and the improbable means he must use to do them… His graffiti, mostly clandestine, is just as much an acrobatic performance as it is an artistic work. Most notably, he is to thank for the woman masturbating near Place Stéphanie.

Less risqué and less, well, fleshy are his dinosaur skeleton works that adorn the entrance to the Museum of Natural Sciences. This particular work was planned, but it is true that skeletons and other animals are amongst the most popular themes that Bonom likes to do covertly.

The expo

From January to March 2014, the expo Bonom, le singe boiteux ("the precarious monkey") will display a selection of drawings and sketches from Vincent Glowinksi (Bonom). Photos by Ian Dyckmans will also be present at the expo, a bit of insight into the nocturnal raids of the artists. This is a rare opportunity to discover the face behind the Bonom frescos! A monumental 15 meter sculpture will also be displayed: a leather snake structured and suspended as if it were a puppet.
