Croatia in a new light as a country of quality by presenting in an original way Croatian inventions,
original creations and products carrying the Croatian Creation and Croatian Quality labels.
Besides famous athletes like Davor Suker, Ivan Ljubicic or Janica Kostelic, beautiful nature and cultural
legacy gaining a growing appreciation, Croatia is also home to many well-known inventions and
products, even among ones used worldwide.
Although it is not always known where they
come from, some of the inventions and
products are simply unavoidable in everyday
life like the polyphase system of alternating
currents invented by Nikola Tesla or system
of fi ngerprint classifi cation invented by Ivan
Vuèetiæ.
Did you know that the necktie – an eternal
symbol of men’s elegance originally comes
from Croatia? Or that the famous Bridge of
Sighs in Venice is made of stone from the
Island of Brac, a material of incomparable
quality also used for the White House in
Washington?

The multi-media exhibition based on the
see-listen-feel idea will give you a taste of
Croatia in the best possible light. Luxurious
glass show-cases containing products and
inventions, a video-wall showing images
of Croatian products, panoramic views
accompanied by typical Croatian sounds of
the sea, sea-gulls and crickets will give you
a chance to see, taste and hear the best of
