Bars worth investigating!
In the group of "new classics" we must mention Belga Café on the ground floor of the former radio station, in Place Flagey's imposing and splendid Art Deco building. On the other side of the Bois de la Cambre, young people flock to the Barabar on the Chaussie de Waterloo, an Uccle equivalent of the former. It must be said that the Jeux d'Hiver nightclub is close by. Still in Uccle, but along the Chaussie de Saint-Job, L'Imprimerie has revived the famous Vandenheuvel, formerly considered one of the best lagers in the kingdom. "Artists" should try the Walvis Café, the trendy place to be seen in downtown Brussels (close to the Bourse). For lovers of lively dance floors, the Havana delivers Latin-American beats right in the heart of the Marolles (Rue de l'Epie), whereas Chez Richard proposes more "traditional" music to dance to, just by the Sablon (Rue des Minimes).
