This is in a church-studio in the middle of the U.S. campaign only a few miles from Woodstock that the artist has removed the winter of 2010 to record his 12 new songs. The decor planted, the simply mention the name of the director, Mark Plati, and those few musicians (Stu Kimball, Jerry Marotta, Gerry Leonard ...) who accompanied the artist to the studio to realize that this new album takes us in the musical roots of Axelle Red: A blend of soul, folk and country that we call Americana.
Through its new original songs, Axelle Red reveals also several collaborations with some of the most beautiful feathers current French music scene. The result is a collection of 12 original songs composed by Axelle Red, whose lyrics were written by Christophe Miossec, Florent Marchand, Gérard Manset, Ben and Mazué and of course Axelle itself. "A heart like mine" highlights two duets with Christophe Miossec and Stephan Eicher. May 27, for a single date, Axelle Red is for the first time on stage at the Cirque Royal in order to present his brilliant new album!
