An essential link between the 9th Art and Art Nouveau, from December 2005 to April 2006, the Belgian Centre of Comic Strip will be putting on a temporary exhibition highlighting the imagery of the ‘Belle Epoque’ (Edwardian era).
Based on the specific history of the Centre, the exhibition will present, among other things, extracts from comic strip works that have used it as the setting for comic strip adventures and illustrations paying tribute to its existence. This exhibition is part of a programme of activities intended to mark the 100th anniversary of the former Waucquez stores that house the Belgian Centre of Comic Strip.
