Ariel, the Little Mermaid ❤ Manneken-Pis
In the video below, a little boy who looks a lot like Manneken-Pis falls victim to Ariel’s charm. With the backup of her royal father, the help of Sebastian (her friend the crab), and by playing up her charm, the Little Mermaid attempts to convince our patented peeing statue to stop his misdeed. When she thinks she’s finally succeeded, the vengeance of our hero surprises her.
Fair warning before you watch the video, or else you might have to explain some details about male anatomy faced with the charms of his female counterpart.
This video is a part of the “Versus” project, a series of short animations created by the production studio Red Medusa and broadcasted on the Russian site Tvigle.ru. Published on the internet in October 2012, this video has resurfaced in the past couple days. You can check out the entire Versus series on the Tvigle Man YouTube channel.
And to think that just a couple of weeks ago this same mermaid was hanging out on the marble under the fountain of our Manneken-Pis as a part of our series devoted to Disney characters touring around Brussels.
