A Maison de la Nature in Molenbeek
Ground was broken on Tuesday morning. Although the project involves renovating several existing buildings - the main building, its annexes and the inner courtyard - constructing family accommodation for the caretaker is also part of Beliris's plans.

A community farm will move into the inner courtyard. New barns and a farmyard will cater for the animals. The location, located just next to Scheutbos Park, will give them a huge area of land to enjoy. A farmer will be on site day and night to look after these new guests.
... fruits and vegetables
The future Maison de la Nature will also have an orchard and several vegetable gardens. A variety of educational workshops will be organised throughout the year. Little ones will be able to discover how useful compost is, learn about gardening, and how to make their own bread using a real traditional oven... Storytellers will also be at hand in this 900 m2 green and natural space.
Opening
Work is scheduled to finish in a little over a year, in Autumn 2017.
